Cincinnati Eastside Rotary recently provided and served lunch to guest families of the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati.  Families throughout the world come to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center seeking life-saving treatment for their children. Often times, they come to Cincinnati exhausted, scared and financially drained as they struggle to pay medical bills.  Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for these families in need.

The Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary Club supported the Ronald McDonald House mission of care and support through generous financial contributions of its members during the month of February that funded lunch for guest families.  Rotary volunteers also prepared and served a home-cooked meal on March 23 at the Ronald McDonald House Coryville location.

“We’re very pleased to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati,” said Cincinnati Eastside Rotary President Eric Radtke.  “We hope our contributions will simply allow guest families to concentrate on what’s most important – their children.”

In addition to providing a comfortable bedroom, Ronald McDonald House provides meals, activities, play areas, laundry and internet access – a home away from home.

About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Cincinnati-Eastside was formed April 5, 2013 and it's 40 members enjoy fellowship, service and education each Wednesday at a luncheon meeting at Ivy Hills Country Club.  Prospective members are always welcome and each week more people are joining the "ground floor" of this new and vibrant Club.

The members represent a wide range of business, non-profit and government leaders.
