Cincinnati Eastside Rotary recently welcomed UC Air Care to its weekly luncheon meeting.  Air Care Pilot, Bob Francis, discussed UC Health’s specialized medical transport unit and its value to the community.  Francis started with Air Care & Mobile Care in February of 2008.

Air Care & Mobile Care has provided the Greater Cincinnati area with specialized medical transport services for patients in our community for over 30 years. The specialty unit comprises a staff of 140 employees from diverse professional backgrounds. A unique aspect to the UC Air Care unit is that it provides its service with a specially trained physician or advanced practice nurse on every flight.

Deepening the UC Air Care connection with Rotary is that Mr. Francis was part of a team of professional responding to a medical emergency involving Rotary District 6670 Governor Bill Shula.  Here is his story-

About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Cincinnati-Eastside was formed April 5, 2013 and it's 40 members enjoy fellowship, service and education each Wednesday at a luncheon meeting at Ivy Hills Country Club.  Prospective members are always welcome and each week more people are joining the "ground floor" of this new and vibrant Club.

The members represent a wide range of business, non-profit and government leaders.
