Sandy Shevers recognized as a two-time Paul Harris Fellow with President Eric Radtke

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.  Cincinnati Eastside Rotary is pleased to recognize Mrs. Sandy Shevers, Executive Vice President of Sportsman’s Market, Inc. (Sporty’s), as a two-time Paul Harris Fellow.

The Paul Harris Fellowship recognition was established in 1957 to show appreciation for and encourage substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study.  It is named for Rotary founder, Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.

The presentation of Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for support of its humanitarian and educational programs. A contribution to The Rotary Foundation is an investment in the ideal of goodwill, peace and understanding.

Sandy Shevers was recognized by Cincinnati Eastside Rotary at its weekly, luncheon meeting with a presentation of the Paul Harris Fellowship pin.
