For more than 160 years, YMCA has been engaging neighborhoods across the U.S. and the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati continues that legacy with a major impact in the Cincinnati metro area.

YMCA Vice President William “Bear” Clifton shared the compelling story of the YMCA and its work to strengthen communities – everyday working side-by-side with neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.  The YMCA’s area of focus include:

  • Youth Development – program delivery focused to children and teens across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, so they cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and enhanced educational achievement.
  • Healthy Living – YMCA recognizes its unique responsibility by offering programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, bond families closer together, and strengthen connections with others.
  • Social Responsibility – YMCA listens and responds to the communities’ most critical social needs, with a focus on Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s most vulnerable citizens and under-served populations.

About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Cincinnati-Eastside was formed April 5, 2013 and it's 40 members enjoy fellowship, service and education each Wednesday at a luncheon meeting at Ivy Hills Country Club.  Prospective members are always welcome and each week more people are joining the "ground floor" of this new and vibrant Club.

The members represent a wide range of business, non-profit and government leaders.
