Weekly Speaker / Dan Varner, Varner Foundation for Children & Families

Hello Rotarians & Guests!

We look forward to seeing you at our Rotary Club on Wednesday December 7th!  Join us at 11:45am at Ivy Hills as we hear from Dan Varner and an update on the Varner Foundation for Children & Families. The Varner Foundation operates under 3 pillars:

1. Raise Awareness: Awareness of the foster youth and kinship care crisis is very low, and we need individuals, organizations, and churches to understand the need.
2. Collaborate: There are amazing organizations who are already doing great things that need a little help to expand their services or the number of families they serve.
3. Identify and fill gaps: There are new programs, trainings, and solutions needed to help biological, kinship and foster families be successful.  Often, individual families need one-time help to eliminate barriers to achieve stability.
