Ever wonder how our very diverse Clermont County can be “connected” for communication, public welfare, and the good of our citizens? Well, on Wednesday, August 16, our own Bob Pautke explained how the Clermont Agenda for the Future, including its emphasis on lifelong learning, health & wellness, transportation, economic opportunity and community have been centralized into Connect Clermont. Connect provides communication (via Good Day Clermont broadcasts), talent (connecting volunteers to boards and committees) and financial platforms (connecting dollars to needs). The broadcasts and social media focus on the personalities who have had key role in our creating our “brand”. The Talent Platform connects volunteers and talent to county needs. Finally, the Financial platform has provided 54 non-profit grants totaling over $300,000 as well as direct Goshen Tornado relief over $100,000.
We are fortunate to have our own Bob Pautke lead such an important effort by putting his own service before his self!
