Clermont County Director of Economic Development, Michael McNamara, recently joined a virtual meeting of the Cincinnati Eastside Rotary Club.
Before coming to Clermont County, McNamara served as Development Administrator in Butler County, a position that included Executive Director of the Butler County Port Authority and President of the Butler County Land Bank.
Prior to his most-recent role, he was Chief Deputy, Administration for the Butler County Treasurer. His career path also includes assignments at the Butler County Board of Elections, the Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney, Strategic Advantage Consulting, the Ohio Treasurer of State, and the Butler County Clerk of Courts.
McNamara’s visit is part of many meetings he has participated in with the goal of engaging with leaders in the community. McNamara commented that a common thread is that people are focused and optimistic and he’s happy to represent a government that is ready to do business.
