Weekly Rotary Meeting / Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, Janet Smith.

Please join us for our weekly meeting as we hear from Janet Smith as she shares information with us about Ohio’s 529 Plan.

Ms. Smith is a marketing professional for Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage.  As a former administrator in higher education for more than a decade, and with nearly two decades as a public servant in county/state government, Ms. Smith collaborates with employers throughout Ohio and serves as a resource for Ohio’s 529 Plan.  She actively advocates the features and benefits of the tax-advantaged 529 program, helping employers roll out Ohio’s 529 Plan information in the workplace.  She earned her MS in marketing and communication from Franklin University, and a BSC in communication from Ohio University-Zanesville, cum laude.  Ms. Smith resides in Lewis Center, Ohio with her two daughters, one of which is a rising Senior at Ohio University-Athens, and the other will be a Sophomore at Findlay University.
