Weekly Rotary Speaker / Loveland Robotics

Please join us at our weekly meeting on Wednesday April 5th as we welcome a presentation from the Loveland Robotics Team:

Team 5040, Nuts and Bolts, and Team 10464, The Bionic Tigers, are two FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams from Loveland High School. FIRST is a STEM community that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs. We are supported by Loveland Robotics Boosters, Inc, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization focused on promoting STEM to Loveland students of all ages. Our teams have existed for over a decade and have consistently made it to championships at both the state and world level. On top of building robots and competing with other teams, we perform outreach within our community to help spread and spark passion for STEM. We are self-funded through Loveland Robotics Boosters, Inc, raising money for our teams through corporate and personal sponsorships as well as holding local fundraisers.

You won’t want to miss this! Happy Bucks for the month of April will go to the Blue Bird Bus of Hope.

Save the Dates:

• May 11^th –  Annual Club Fundraiser and 10^th Birthday Celebration / Anderson Center / 6-9pm (no meeting this week on the 10^th)
• May 24^th – Give Like a Mother Service Project in lieu of meeting. Noon to 2pm. New Eastgate location.
