On the December 7 club meeting, we heard from Dan Varner of the Varner Foundation for Children and Families.
Thousands of children in the greater Cincinnati area are in foster care due to broken family situations. The Varner Foundation raises awareness of this crisis, collaborates with organizations, and identifies gaps to fill in for foster care families. 100% of the funds they raise go directly to individuals, organizations, and churches that foster support for caregivers. Their assistance enables these children to become productive citizens and future leaders.
