Weekly Rotary Meeting / Bob Pautke, Connect Clermont

Rotarians,
Please join us this Wednesday at Ivy Hills at 11:45am as we welcome our very own Bob Pautke! Bob will explain how Connect Clermont has been the catalyst in forming the “Clermont Content Creators Collaborative” in collaboration with UC Clermont College, and partnership with the nine public school districts and two career tech centers in Clermont. He will also have a question for fellow members to discuss.

- Clermont county residents have said they want “easy access to information about activities, events, and people” (source: Clermont’s Agenda For The Future).
- Clermont county has no TV or radio stations providing news, and an under-resourced newspaper.
- Clermont is a “news desert” (source: Scripps Foundation.
- Community and nonprofit news is an emerging national trend. (sources: The Center for Community News; and Institute for Nonprofit News.)
